The SmartWeightLossBlog.com is all about getting the biggest bang for your diet and exercise buck. If you’re like me, you probably have been on the diet see-saw at least once. The truth about weight loss is that it requires as much a mental change as a physical one. Unless you can change your lifestyle, the diet see-saw will always be right there knocking you down after some success.

Smart weight loss is about two main ideas…

  1. Eating healthy most of the time (we all can splurge once in a while) to maintain a healthy lifestyle and achieve weight loss goals.
  2. Change your mental outlook on your health. Permanent weight loss is a process not an “event”. Frankly, if your diet has a starting day and an enduing day, what’s the point?

So the whole premise of this website is that you want to achieve permanent wieight loss and are willing to make lifestyle changes as well as changes to your eating habits.

You’ll be very surprised to see how easy weight loss can be if you just get started with a good plan (avoid the latest fads) and stick to it. If you can only exercise 3 days a week for 30 minutes, then that’s where you start. If you need a pizza on the weekend, that’s fine. Just don’t overdue it.
